When converting the web reporting demo application with Visual Studio 2008's default settings, a project backup folder is created. This folder in turn triggers the error when starting the application, as the web.config file is also copied and some settings are not allowed for sub folders.Simply delete the "Backup" folder in order to use the web reporting application with Visual Studio 2008.
