When creating a List & Label print template on a system that does not have the same measurement system as the target system, the positioning of objects may change. The reason for this is the change in the measurement system, which means that the unit of measurement is no longer millimeters, but inches, for example.
To avoid this problem, the designer function “UnitFromSCM()” can be used. UnitFromSCM automatically converts an SCM unit (1/1000 mm) into the unit of measurement (inch/mm) of the target system. See the List & Label Designer manual for more information.
