URL link in text

(Guest) #1

Hello,

Is it possible to insert a hyperlink in a LL18 label?
Example: Click here][/url] to visit my site.

This link should be activated when a user clicks on “here” in the PDF document i create in LL18.

Suggestions are welcome.

Hi Jack,

thank you for your post.

Yes, it is possible to use hyperlinks in this way. You can use a simple string field. Type your text into the field you want to display, e.g. “Click here…”. Then just type the hyperlink as string into the “Link” property of that field, e.g. “[url=http://www.combit.net/en”.

Hi Jack,

please note that the “Link” property is only available in table objects. But you can just type your URL into a text object, e.g. “www.combit.net”. Most of the PDF viewers recognize automatically that there is a hyperlink inside.
