In a master detail listing, the details have two lines: a name and a mailaddress on the second line. I would like to suppressing the second line when no mail address is present.
I can suppress printing the information, but the space stays reserved, even if I set the printing condition for that line to false.

it seems that there are some distances defined somewhere else, e.g. in the column itself or the tables. Please check whether the Distance After and Distance Before properties of the tables contain some values:
It can be set for each single object within the reportcontainer object.
