If I want to have a basic “Top N records” bar chart, i.e. top 5 customers, I have to pass a table with “customer + totals” as a datasource.
While is is a simple task, this does not work well with report parameters. If I add some parameters (year, customer group, country, region, agent) which dynamically filters the datasource for the bar chart, I have no change to get the top n records.
It would be great to have the ability to sort a bar chart by the axis value and only show the top n records.
