Problems with subtotals

Hi,

Does someone use List and Label 15 and Visual DataFlex?

I experiment problems with the subtotals.

If it is the first page and the line of detail is only one, the subtotal forms appear to zero.

I want to update my LL13 to LL15, but when this serious problem is solved.

The same source code in LL13 works correctly.

Hi,

a had some similiar problems while switching to LL15. But in the release
notes of the service packs you can find an interesting entry which could
solve your behaviour:

If a sum variable was printed after a group change that was triggered by the
second record (i.e. the first group just contained one record), it could
have been 0 under very rare circumstances.

It was helpful in my case.

Sorry but my English is a bit poor.

This means that the problem is solved with a servicepack?
Or I have to do something?

I disagree with “…under very rare circumstances.”

Always that the first group of de first page have only a record, the subtotal group it will be zero.

Yes, I think the problem should be solved with the latest service pack of
LL15. In my case it was helpful; there is nothing to code ;-).
You should do some tests to verify the changes in the service pack if they
have the expected effect in such a manner.
