Prevent Windows to Manage the Default Printer Automatically

Since Windows 10, version 1511 (build: 10586) there is a significant change in the management and use of installed printers in the system. A new feature has been introduced which sets the last used printer as default printer. This may result in general problems while working with List & Label.
 
We recommend to disable this feature. Please proceed as follows:
 
1. Click on "Start".
2. Select "Settings".
3. Select "Devices (bluetooth, printers, mouse)".
4. Select the menu "Printers & Scanners" on the left.
5. Disable the option "Let Windows manage my default printer".
