When you install List & Label 32, numerous programming examples are also installed to demonstrate how to use and integrate List & Label into your application.

In the .NET Sample Center at ..\Development\Microsoft .NET\SampleCenter\, the following message may appear when attempting to open the Cross Platform > List & Label in Linux Docker Container sample:

Some examples are available only in the Professional and/or Enterprise editions. Please check whether the path ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\combit\LL32\Development\Microsoft .NET\.NET 8\Cross Platform\Linux Docker Sample\LLPDFGenerator.sln’ exists.

The reason is that, for the .NET Sample Center, the file path for the sample in its XML file ..\Development\Microsoft .NET\SampleCenter\SampleData.xml is incorrect and must be adjusted as follows:

Wrong: <Link2SolutionNET10>Microsoft .NET\.NET 8\Cross Platform\Linux Docker Sample\LLPDFGenerator.sln</Link2SolutionNET10>

Correct: <Link2SolutionNET10>Microsoft .NET\.NET 10\Cross Platform\Linux Docker Sample\LLPDFGenerator.sln</Link2SolutionNET10>

In addition, the included Dockerfile references .NET 8 instead of .NET 10 and would need to be updated in the following two places:

Wrong:

# Build and publish the app
FROM mcr.microsoft.com/dotnet/sdk:8.0 AS build
...
# Runtime image
FROM mcr.microsoft.com/dotnet/aspnet:8.0

Correct:

# Runtime image
FROM mcr.microsoft.com/dotnet/aspnet:10.0
...
# Build and publish the app
FROM mcr.microsoft.com/dotnet/sdk:10.0 AS build
