License error when used in an ActiveX control

We have an ActiveX control we supply to our users that uses LL22 to print reports and labels. When used in a Visual Studio environment, our users get the “This version of List & Label has not been installed correctly for development purposes” popup message and subsequent calls to LL functions return the -105 error code. They aren’t developing using List and Label, they’re merely calling one of our functions to render a report or label. How may we work around the error?

Many thanks!

It seems your ActiveX control (with LL integrated) is used inside an IDE - Visual Studio. So you are now in “Programming-Mode” for List & Label and this needs still a valid license and developer installation for that user.
