I am trying options for integrating List & Label or the Report Server with MSBI tools such as Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), or Azure Analysis Services. I am interested to know best practices for connecting List & Label reports to MSBI datasets or data sources.
Any challenges faced during integration and how they were resolved . I have referred combit Software: Award-Winning-Reporting-Tool-for-Developers resource.

It’s a bit confusing for me, because until now I saw Reporting Services more as a competitor to LL.
SSRS actually uses SQL Server tables/databases as a data source, doesn’t it?
LL can access various data sources.
You can even develop your own data source.
