EAN128 Barcode With Application Identifier (AI)

Valid from List & Label 5
This barcode type is widely used in logistics. The different data blocks that can be encoded are separated by so called "Application Identifiers" (AIs). For better readability these AIs are often put in brackets. These brackets have to be removed before encoding!

A typical barcode value could look like this:
(01)20060000000015(400)1234512345

Please note: the brackets must not be contained in the content string. You should use a separated text object for the output of the clear text readable content. For the automatic creation of this output string you can use the function GS1Text$ with List & Label 22.

If you use AIs with variable length you have to encode a FNC1 code (chr$(254)) before the next AI follows!
