It would be extremely helpful to convert preview files to XLS / XLSX and DOCX. These are, according to documentation at the time (for whatever reason) no valid target formats.
LL24 will have a way to optionally embed other export formats into the preview. Files created this way will also support a conversion to any of the embedded file formats, including DOCX and XLSX. I’ll blog about this feature shortly.
