Change printer driver options in runtime

Hi,

We are working with LL22.

We would like to know if one dessign can be printed changing some printer driver options in runtime.

-Speed
-Darkness
-Paper Format
-Size
-Unprintable Area

We have a installation with many printers (more than 20) and we in some cases we can’t print with the printer driver properties

For Example:
We have a label dessign and we need to print in differents printers, (termical or ribbon) .
Depending of the printer, we will need to change some printer driver options only for this dessing.
We need to print in different Speed and Darkness from printer driver.

This is possible?

thank you for your post.

In my opinion you are well-advised with using different page layouts where you can activate different layouts by formula.

For more details on this topic please have a look at the Designer Manual (chapter 8 “Page Layout” for LL22).

More doubts:

It’s possible to have defined the printer as ‘Generic Text’ and send differents dessigns with the sizes fixed in the dessign?

The same design will work in different printers (normals or with ribbon) if the drivers are ‘generic text’?
