I would suggest to get rid of the BDE. It’s not supported since years and nearly impossible to use since Win8. So I think it is time to make the L&L installation easier for people who dont use the BDE.

Acknowledged :). We’re actively searching for Delphi community members willing to co-operate with us on the VCL component development. If anyone would be interested in working with us to port the database access to e.g. FireDAC just let me know.
