We are trying to make the transition from an old version to the current version as easy as possible. The old project files are automatically converted in the background. However, the amount of required rework depends on a number of individual factors, as well as on the number of versions you're skipping.The simplest way to get an overview are the Programmers-Manual.pdf and the Update-Information.pdf that come with the installation of the trial version, so that you can estimate your individual effort. All changes throughout the versions are listed in these two documents. As with any update of a software, we recommend that you also check the user defined templates and project files after the update. Improvements to the implementation of features may also lead to slight differences in the output – a 100% identity cannot always be achieved.
